Robert Wyrsch, 2021 3* OL, Soquel (HS), CA (Committed)

What the fuck are they doing?

Huff got blackout drunk in NorCal and jokingly offered this kid when he met him at a Denny's a year ago. Kid finally called Huff and told him he was collecting on the offer

If you're taking an under the radar kid, I'm more down for a 6'7 OT who moves well than most positions. LIPO IMO. Bram Walden ain't comin here and there aren't many OT out west again this year.

Not here to quook it up too much, but dang. What is going on? This isn't a bad year for OL in the West, this seems like a reach for y'all.

I can work with this. He's not a stiff at all. Even Clemson takes on projects. Diamonds in the rough do still exist, especially on OL. I'm here to say that I'm now Bob Wyrsch's #1 fan.

Apparently he's only been playing football for 1.5 Years. 100% potential

Huff is one of the few coaches that have any idea what recruiting is and how to do it well, for that reason LIPO.

Kidding aside the last tim Huff offered and took someone no one heard of it was Gaard. I'll LIPO.

I've seen more OL big start busts and no star hits than any other position. Has nothing to do with this guy but thought I would add some science and math to the discussion

Guard was recruited for months prior to his offer & commitment, he made it to campus, and showed out in a camp.

Hate to be this guy, but he’s a good commit. He’s big and can run. I watched his Hudl. He’s quick enough to make plays on defense.

Perfect high school size for an OL. Stack solid players and get the elite guys you can like JT and Egbuka.

Stars matter, but we aren’t going to recruit at a top 10 level consistently. I’ve always said there is too much emphasis on low 4 star guys.
