RIP…

Their only #1 single

Glenn Frey fired him because he lost his nerve hitting the high notes

Honesty, Try and Love Again is in my top five Eagles songs. Was a deep cut on Hotel California. Has everything you would want from the band, great musical comp, killer guitar solo and killer harmonies.
RIP Randy.

Only hit number 4.

Best of My Love and One of these Nights were both number 1 singles.

Not according to History of the Eagles

Sounds like History of the Eagles needs to get its reads down.

I know I had a math teacher about thirty years ago that played that album non stop but about ten to fifteen years ago I too heard it on that same station and became hooked on it

They should have recruited Joe Walsh in 1973. Rocky Mt Way would have been a great Eagles song.

Couldn't agree more. A little too R&R for those guys though.

They were amazingly good on stage around that time. That's how it's done.

40 years on and the ending never gets old
