Fetters pm'd me when Tyrone was coach and told me that the SID at the UW had contacted him and asked him to remove a post I made. Fetters told me that in order to keep things "civil" with Tyrone, he was going to remove the post. He told me he dd not agree with the idea, but he was doing it to keep the peace with UW.

I've said that all along. If they'd just fucking own it and say 'yeah, the AD is up our ass trying to keep things civil', I'd have no problem with it. But the fact that they constantly deny and pretend like there's nothing to see when it's obvious what's happening is fucking annoying. Just own it and nobody would bat an eye.

So what changed in those three days? I didn't know we were that close from being spared 0-12 damnation. Unbelievable. How could it go from being a sure thing to retaining that piece of filth Willingham? What possible consequences could there have been? Was it just the NAACP and all that bullshit?
 
DJ(I like to call him that) explains really well in his Bow Down to Willingham book about those three days. How Emmert pussed out and despite what TequilaFS says this whole mess falls entirely on Emmert's shoulders.

There are so many rumors out there right now it's funny.

Honestly, with everything we know, it sure seems like Emmert is the ony guy who really knows and he's not saying anything, even to the boosters. There hasn't been any leaks.

Yes, the next three days saw Tyrone kept on and Turner fired. There was the threats by the "ubers" (Hi AAAndy!) to withhold donations. There was one promise to make a 100k donation to the law school if Ty was canned. The dots connected lead to Turner did an end run to keep Ty and Emmert pussed out for fear of a racial issue.

Yes, all in DJ's (ILTCHDJ) book. Also the emails to Emmert were made public.

I don't see how anyone can defend Emmert. I guess if you just refuse to listen to facts like TequilaFS does then that happens.

He had a chance to save us from 0-12 but like a coward who had one foot out the door he chose to be gutless in sticking with an 11-25 coach.
