Prediction for Kim's next "What I'm Hearing": He would have been coming to UW if Sark had stayed here. He's been hearing about it since October but didn't want to break the story. Many on the board really don't understand how much Sark connected with kids. Great things were right around the corner and USC will be a monster. It will be interesting to contrast his style of recruiting with Petersen's.

The people saying Petersen can't recruit are already looking stupid, but they are going to really regret it next year. It's going to be a big class next year, led by in-state kids that Sark would have whiffed on.

 
if you can't see how many kids just want to hang with a coach who drinks too much and has a raw pickle from restaurants that hire hot and doesn't work very hard while letting his alleged workout master ivan turn 180 pound kids into 182 pound beasts over 3 years and achieving 7 actual wins and 12 mythical wins... well, then i can't help you.

I'm hearing next year's in-state class is a bumper crop.
 
If Sark spent 1/100th the time on recruiting the lines as he did recruiting QB's we'd probably be in pretty good shape right now.

Its the great fucking myth about his "masterful" recruiting. The classes may have been rated fairly well, but upon further review, the ratings were always wildly inflated because the "blue-chippers" he reeled in were predominately QB's and WR's.

But, hey, the fucker could shoot Patron and hit the cross-bar with his hat on backwards.
