He did a series of videos, maybe for ESPN, where he was explaining game film and things he was looking for when he prepared for an opponent. I was impressed.

The answer is (or was) NO. Athletes get no breaks once they are in, but they get somewhat of a break on admissions. A friend of mine played BSB/FB at Furd. He was a smart guy, but not a brainiac, probably a 3.5 or so in HS. He alway told us that the hardest thing about going to Stanford was getting in. His bro went to Notre Dame, same thing.Stanford

Okay, I mean like real world intelligent. Not a film junkie. That doesn't really mean much to me other than he studied hard to be good at his job.
