I could see a few things.
  1. WR is a position where they are at least getting visits and buzz on bigger name portal prospects. This happened with high school though and Fisch couldn't close the big fish.
  2. He's another DeBoer recruit who I'm sure had no better options and now has at least some tape to sell himself with.
  3. Guy runs like he has ski boots on.
 
I actually re-wrote this to apply to my divorce from my practice wife, and it was quite amusing (to ME)…I will spare you the details, but if I actually did this in real-tim 25 years ago in this format, it would have a photo of me at the Acrop with a stripper on my lap and a Cohiba in my pie hole…and "I have 40+ years of eligibility left"…
EDIT: "With that being said" has quickly become for CFB portal announcements what "With all due respect" is for politicians and board rooms…a polite way of saying FUCK OFF I'M OUT!…

I also had a practice wife and would find it very refreshing if a college kid tweeted “ Fuck off I’m out!”.

I was taking my turn writing Xmas cards this week and all the writing is generic, no Dear Stalin or anything. Card goes in envelope and into a pile for Mrs Nacho to address.

I had the thought of playing Russian roulette with a card and writing “merry Xmas & fuck off!”

Oh gosh, I hope not. He would get more reps as a RS-Soph and be ready to start as a RS-JR.
I get that guys don't want to sit anymore in these portal times but there's something to be said for moving your way up.
 
UW didn’t offer him enough $$$ so he’s hoping the Central Alabama School of Paper Folders gives him a bag.
