Rewatching the 2014 Apple Cup on P12 Network

- Good god, our playcalling was atrocious. Our OL and DL (all of the defense really, Feeney and Buddah had huge games) completely dominated the game. Our run game was destroying it with D. Washington, but our coaching staff kept putting Coleman in (who did nothing) and kept THROWING THE FUCKING BALL with an absolutely terrible QB. Maddening. We were up 14-0 at halftime, it should have been 28-0 at least.
- Lindquist came in for 1 pass and threw a 40 yard dime on a rope to Ross in stride, who promptly dropped the easy TD #hopeforlindy
- Kasen was injured but he still had the ability to go up and make plays on the ball. He really was underutilized last yea.
- All of the young DL looked fantastic. Granted it was WSU, but it gives hope.

Christ, any objective person knows he wasn't good last year, to no fault of his own. He should have redshirted but he didn't want to.

Kasen did better at the end of the year, once he was healthier and able to play. No doubt his best game was the Catcus Bowl (5 catches, 73 yards) because that was the healthiest he was all season and finally recovered from that Lisfranc injury.

Let's not forget who was throwing to him, too.

With average QB play, that game is 42-0 in the 3rd quarter. The 31-0 lead in the 4th quarter completely masked how awful Miles was that game.
