There is a line in all sports between playing hard and dirty ... the line generally is crossed when you intentionally put the health of your opponent into danger in an unnecessary manner

The author basically loses any argument that she is trying to make when jumping on the comment by Foster of "take it like a man" and noting how sexist it is" ... it shows a distinct lack of understanding of what that phrase means. Also doesn't help your article when you say that you have never played any kind of contact sport
 
The shit the daily prints in editorials and opinions is astounding and half their writers must have failed freshman english. Fuck everything about that paper.

There is a quickly growing trend with kids not wanting to identify as a man or woman and want to be referred to as "they."

Also, saying "you guys" is considered creeping sexism.

Race, I'm not saying everyone is doing it but the sample size is tremendously large.

Hopefully the bad blood rolls over into a rematch next year.
 
I've probably told this story before but I remember some assignment for my freshman English class where we had to write out the intended narrative on an advertisement and I picked some ad with Terrell Davis in it and referred to him as "a beast". Liberal TA cunt got all over me for that phrase and took it to how professional athletes were like slaves in that they couldn't chose their employer.

That of course set me off and she got lambasted accordingly. Yeah cause million dollar salaries which you are free to quit anytime is just like slavery. Fuck off.

This was in 1999; I can't even imagine now.

I've now read or heard about Washington, Alabama, and Clemson players taking cheap shots in their playoff games. Probably just a symptom of being a good, competitive team.

I took a Black Studies course in the 70's and we had to write a paper on the revolutionary war. I brought in some elements of class and gender going beyond just race and got a D. I re wrote and just basically said fuck whitey and got an A.

The difference is it only cost me 180 bucks a quarter, not a lifetime of crippling student loan debt.
