Return of the Sonics

Despite being a Beaver and Sonic, @theglove was one of my favorite college and NBA players.
 
Dunno about favorite but I enjoyed seeing guys like IT on campus and then that year that he was an all star level player with Boston I saw him in the last game of the regular season against Portland where he just looked like a murder ninja before that playoff injury fucked his career for good.

I also like that we have this violent enforcer player in the NBA in Stewart. I saw him at the Moda last year, u fortunately he didn't beat the shit out of players for me.

Remember when the old Sonics announcer would go "X....x.....x....x" every time Xavier McDaniel scored? They thought it was cool and futuristic to make his voice echo and trail off while following with super gay laser sounds.

That was gay.

It was really cool to watch IT have that great season and a couple other really good ones. I grew up playing against him quite a few times. I once scored 30+ against his team and we beat them. Al Bundy moment for me.
