[Retro Nintendo] Best Flash game you'll ever find

Any NES list without Excitebike is pretty much worthless imo. So yeah, Mario, Tecmo, Metroid, Punch Out and Excitebike. Clear Top 5. Contra right there.
 
Track and Field was awesome. I forgot about that one. This thread has me considering buying a Nintendo. The only thing that sucks is they always have the flashing blue screen and it's probably hard to get one that consistently works without blowing into the game and system a hundred times.

I would have included T&F, but the shit made my fingers feel like they would literally fall off.
 
Seriously. Go through the cast of characters on Mike Tyson's Punch Out and you'll laugh at how politically incorrect that game would be nowadays.

I believe you download the old games on the Wii.
 
Regular Nintendo was the fucking best. Top 5 day of my life when I got one for Christmas when I was 4. The only thing that sucked was the machine didn't always work and you had to blow in the games to get it to work. I hated the flashing blue screen.

I remember reading that it was impossible to TKO Mike Tyson in Mike Tyson's punchout. I then proceeded to TKO him in the 3rd round, and then later in the 2nd round. You forgot to add Mega Man (those games were rad), Double Dragon and the Zelda games.

Yeah I loved punching and kicking enemies repeatedly and then being rewarded at the end of the flurry by my foot or fist turning huge and knocking them clear the fuck out of the TV screen.
 
Ninja Gaiden was so fucking hard back in the day. Actually it still is, some friends and I fired it up a few years ago and still got our asses kicked. Even with emulators and save state options we still died 50+ times until we finally beat it. Anyone who says it's easy is so full of shit I say.

Propelling down an endless canyon and turning into a fucking swinging bell and smashing random minions was awesome. Also any level you were in a car and had to time your jumps kicked fucking ass.
