What a bunch of shit. Nobody gave a fuck about the name for years. It's the way of the world. Fuck off natives. None of my native friends give two shits about this. Nobody's life is any worse because the team is called the Redskins.
And before anyone says it's offensive, I wish there was a team called the crackers, honkeys, or Whiteys. They'd be my new favorite team. Now please continue posting Pocahontas bitches with the big butts.

Why did nobody give a shit until a few years ago? Even when the lawsuit was filed in 2006, it didn't catch on until pretty recently. The team has been called the Washington Redskins since 1937. There has been plenty of time to drum up some faux outrage. It's a little late now.

It was fine in 1987, 1997, and there was hardly a peep in 2007. Now, ESPN and others are blowing it up making puppets out of everyone. Most the world does whatever the media tells them to do. Same thing happened with Sterling.

I am not disagreeing the term is actually offensive... Yellowskins, Blackskins, Forskins (LOL!) wouldn't fly as a name in sports these days. Whiteskins probably would be ok.

We gave generations of them cheap subsidized booze to keep them docile (re: fucked up) on the reservations. I'd say that's a major win for the NA population myself. I'd be totally down for a shit house in a dustbowl with no legit chance at a job if you gave me 1/2 price firewater.
