From Eklund's blog last month on UW's inability to close on Jericho Johnson:
"For those wondering, while NIL will definitely play a factor for Johnson (the reality is, NIL plays a role with all of the recruits no matter their background or ranking), what will be an even bigger factor for him, probably the biggest, is his relationship with the staff and the man who would be his position coach. Courtney Morgan has done a lot of work to keep Washington in the mix, but from what I have heard, he feels like he has some stronger relationships with other coaches."[/b]
We've got too much recruiting deadweight on the staff (starting with Breckterfield).
Whether it's bringing back Malloe (who never should've been let go), DeBoer needs to make some serious upgrades in that area
