This is actually a pretty decent book for us children of the 70's.

We were pour, my first and only bike was something like this Huffy. It was actually kind of embarrassing to be seen on.

I crashed into a car mirror on one of these owned by a friend, because he ran me off the road and the fucking handbrakes were sticky as shit and couldn't stop the bike. Got three stitches in my forehead after that crash.

My ride from about 6 - 12 yrs old, birthday gift from Ken's Cycle on Hwy 99 in Edmonds.

Upgraded to a Mongoose BMX bike at about 13.

Wish I'd never traded those spider web magnesium rims for plastic tough wheels, but I didn't like bent rims, so I caved into plastics that year. Fuck.
