This is where I am at. Basically, a free for all as long as the rules are adhered to. If anyone recalls, here were DJ's original rules, and the ones STILL POSTED:
1. No posting or linking of pornographic or explicit images and videos
2. No blatant impersonations of someone you're not
3. No cut and paste of Premium content from other websites
Other than that, have fun!
So, if PL_SS is getting time outs, we need new rules. And more rules puts us on a trajectory of no longer being a disgusting but fun place. Rock and a hard place. Before long our rules list will look like the Citrus trio's, and a couple years after that the thought police will be up our ass.

This is a message board. Freedom of speech protects most things said, unless "management" says it isn't acceptable. DJ made clear that pornography, impersonations, and copyright infringements were not acceptable. You can get your panties in a twist, but the fact of that matter is we have board rules, and they should be amended to reflect what you can and cannot post here (broadly). How hard is it to say 4) No overtly racists comments?
The boards that came before this one in the HHB world used to have plenty of "Romar's Monkeys" type bullshit, and the like. So, if you don't want it, amend the rules. Simple. And fuck off.
I don't think you understand the first amendment. It doesn't apply to a private message board. You can't sue DJ for violating your 1st amendment rights for not allowing you to say something.

I broke the pornography rule here once, DJ told me knock it off, so I did and haven't done it again. The point, there was a clearly defined rule against it.
