So, yeah, shit is weird. The coaches have doubled down on their "process." They think they have it all figured out. Maybe they do? Quite honestly, I'm really intrigued by the athleticism these low/no-rated kids have.

Let's be real, though, and get down to brass tacks. This class all comes down to JTT and EE.

Losing Troy was a gut punch. Losing Prentice would suck. Close JTT and EE, and suddenly our no names become a lot more interesting.

If the big two end up elsewhere, pour gas on the whole program, add in a few truckloads of used tires, toss and match and let it burn

I don't think Junior lost Troy. Hiring Donovan and UW's recruiting on a continuum approach did.

Process? Since Pete came, the recruiting strategy centers on getting players on campus (the later the better) before putting the hard sell on. Also, UW will take a kid, regardless of rating, based on their evaluation, not a player's TBS ranking.

No doubt in my mind, Wysth, the new Renton kid and the JV wonder, in particular would have seen their stock skyrocket participating in the spring summer camps. No go with Covid.

When this current kid announces I’ll tell the whole story. If I do now, it’ll maybe steal this kid’s thunder. I won’t do that and I don’t want to get placed in timeout by Kim and the gang. Im nobody special. Scott is connected, guys. Some people trash him but he knows what he’s talking about. Acrop knows stuff too, btw. People I talk to confirm that. Sonics knows people too. I know people who have covered UW previously by chance. I’m sure the staff knows these people as well, probably better than I do.

Let me say this as a PSA. As much grief as we the customers give Kim, Chris and Scott, their world is chaotic and ever-changing. I randomly get GOOD information from time to time, and it freaking turns on a dime. It makes me feel silly when I tell someone what I hear, only to have it fall through. Scott puts his name on every blog and post and people crucify him when he’s wrong, but he wasn’t wrong. It just changed. There are also idiots on other sites or twitter who trash our dawgman guys and they are wrong. There are different agendas out there. Everyone wants success for UW, but they also don’t mind torching others who put out the message or the content. Dawgman has a great staff and they care deeply about Husky athletics. I’m sometimes a pain in the butt, but I respect what they do here. Just a few days of this inside information I’ve received from multiple people, and it’s a roller coaster.

Has nothing to do with the Donovan hire. After the UW limp dicked against Standford, Cal and Colorado I'd take a "wait and see" attitude as a 'croot as well.

If we're allowed to take off our purple tinted glassed for a bit the reality it's not a single season think. The 2018 squad was pretty pussified.
