Gates might jump on board if UW agreed to feed their players the synthetic “meat” he’s been pushing. Winning a natty with a team fueled by pipette grown beef and soy/pea protein ground would be a great advertisement for his products. Personally I’d rather take my chances on the open market than sell out my beloved animal proteins to reel in that whale.

With all the things you can do with money - charity, investing to make more, etc, I just don't see Seattle whales deciding what they want to do with it is give cash to teenage athletes. I have a feeling the same problem is happening at USC/LA at a place that used to be known for bags.

Honestly if Gates wanted to buy a couple offensive and defensive lineman, you know, big, huge, strong kids and the stipulation of their contract was to hype the benefits of his fake meat that might be a win, win for everyone involved. UW gets hard to find large humans and Gates gets young, healthy, possibly black athletes telling everyone how great his “meat” is. (LOL) That may go over better than his old, flabby, dorky, white self saying the same thing to the generation he’s trying to persuade.
 
Is Chris Hansen, that guy who tried to buy the Sonics, still around? If he's not in jail, maybe he'd be interested in funding a title winning college football program. Unless of course he was @sonics1993. In that case that bridge has already been burned.
