Any word on if the coaches know that they're losers this year?

@sonics1993 what are your thoughts on Will Harris? He certainly hasn't given a boost on the recruiting front. Can you give us insight on what it is...he does here

He’s recruited well and was the main recruiter for Makell and Elijah. Don’t know what people’s expectations were but he’s been solid and has helped us lay the ground work for 2021 and 2022 in Texas.

Has he been healthy enough to play this year or still dealing with the infection? Is he just testing the waters or is he definitely gone ?
 
If our guys leave, I would laugh if they leave for Helton. Leaving for Meyer at USC or Cristobal at Oregon is understandable but for Helton...geez.
 
Given the recent developments, it feels like we may end up with 3-4 empty scholarships next year, I would hope we would send out some new offers. Or look for a transfer/JUCO LB.

Or we could just put 8 specialists on scholarship, either works.
 
So Jimmy Lake has a quality reputation as a developer of DB's and an offer from him is considered very positively.
Yet this year and last we don't seem to be a consideration for the best DB's out West. Is him potentially leaving still an issue with recruits? Even if he tells them he's staying I'm sure the perception of him possibly leaving is being used against us by other schools. Is this an issue in your mind and does it need to be resolved one way or the other?

Agree with general premise but last year’s class was strong.

Actually during each of the last two recruiting cycles there was hand-wringing about Jimmy and both times he closed strong.

Doesn’t seem likely this year however.

Hasn't been healthy enough to practice but don't know his health status right now. Have no clue what his intentions are right now.

The question is who is there to offer, I rather hold and a Juco LB is unlikely.

Combination of it being a down year for DB's and Jimmy missing. I think in Jimmy's mind he thought he would get Kelee but to lose him and then Jacobe really hurts especially if the lose Makell. I still have faith in Jimmy finishing strong but he's got some work to do.

I dont see him finishing strong. Break even at best

If they want to LEAVE you let them go. Can’t have guys half in.
