I'll try to provide this free service for you on Mondays from now on. Like any service that is free, or $10.95 per month, don't expect anything substantial.

On to the blog:

Nothing new to report this week but we have a bunch of preemptive excuses and strategies to let dawg fans down easy when the guys we originally tried to pump you up about dump the Huskies by late November. UW needs to be selective this year due to the small class size so that could be scaring kids away.

There are some OTs that UW is in the mix to get a visit from, but it appears that they may not be pressing too hard on them. We're thinking three OL is the target now, but don't expect that target to be met with so few good, rangy athletes available. The staff is not going to take guys just to take guys. Some feel that OL aren't too important in this class since the entire OL will return next year and we only recruit prospects that we can get on the field as freshmen.

On a positive note, UW is starting to look at kickers/punters so you can be sure that any opening left by the lack of good OL prospects will be well filled by another underachieving specialist.

There are some JC players that UW is recruiting harder than anyone else, but don't expect it to work out given the challenges of getting JC prospects in.

There is a top cornerback that favored the Huskies until he moved to Texas and realized he could take his pick of Big 12 schools. We can't expect to compete with the likes of Baylor and Oklahoma for California kids that move to Texas.

That's all for now. I hope to get some information sometime before signing day and I'll share it if I do.

Great news! I love starting out my Monday's with some positive recruiting news! Chuck, if we finish with nine wins, do you think we can close with a top 10 class?

I hear a couple of recruits have committed to other schools to get coaches off their backs but will be Dawgs on signing day!

Top 10 in the conference? Definitely.

Can we get an update on the fence? Thanks.

Nine wins is indeed the tipping point. Kids don't dwell on wins or losses and don't actually talk to me about any of this stuff, but I get the sense that 9 wins will be the difference between finishing only a notch below the Pac 12 north heavyweights, or just a solid 4th place finish...in the north.

Chuck's recruiting news would have been good and probably enjoyable sarcasm had I not vomited a third of the way through his report. This place needs a Puke On OL Recruiting board.

Mods, please retitle this thread "Teen Stocking Blog".

TIA.

We're gonna finish in the top 10 after the 5 game win streak to finish the season.

If you can't read that recruiting blog and not think that recruiting momentum hasn't completely vanished under Sark, then you should DIAFF

How are the new uni's impacting recruits? I hear they love em!

Now that the stadium is complete, how many 4 and 5 star recruits are we getting because we have a new stadium? How many are we getting that like to play X-Box from Sark's office?

If I'm not mistaken, Sark said something last year along the lines of "we're not getting some recruits because they lack the imagination to see how great this stadium will be"

That would be a great question for Kim. He was always popping off about how the new stadium would be a game changer and anyone with some sense told him the stadium won't matter if we don't win games.

I'm sure Kim would tell us that it's not an overnight game changer and we're just looking at things through our own filter and that we need to learn the difference or something.
