real barnburner to start the playoffs

If Detroit scares you more than Green Bay, you deserve Owen16.

My eyes are clearly better than yours then.

Green Bay has an average at best DL and in many of the their recent games against Seattle we've been able to run the ball effectively against them:

The Packers have struggled in both of their last 2 trips into Seattle, particularly with respect to their OL play and keeping Rodgers upright. As a result, it has led to some very poor games for Rodgers by his standards.

Moreover, Rodgers has shown a desire to avoid Sherman at all costs and they are bunching their offense over to the side of the field away from him. All that does is make things far easier on Seattle's defense.

Hi. When's the last time Detroit played in Seattle?

Detroit is a tougher game because they have an offense that could score. Both teams have strong defenses. Carolina's D may be playing better right now but Detroit's has been great all year. Difference is Carolina's offense won't do anything. Detroit at least has some guys who can make a few plays on the Hawks D. Carolina only beat Arizona by 12 points at home when Seattle beat them by 29 on the road.

If Hawks are on their game they handle both rather easily.

Carolina handed Arizona all 16 of the points they scored, but still.

If their D was so great they would have held Arizona to field goals. Gave up TD's on both.

Romo said Detroit was the best defense they saw all year ... kind of want to see the Cowboys now.

That's some nice bulletin bored material if they make it to the NFC title game, but I'd still much rather see GB. Dallas' ability to control the clock is the only thing that scares me in the NFC. I think the Seahawks would beat them, but I'd rather not have to find out.

I can't imagine Dallas holds up well on the frozen tundra, so it shouldn't be an issue.
