The ethnic studies majors are never going to vote Republican. If I were a successful young trucker I'd be pissed to paying off the loans of the college boys and girls. I worked summers at the chemical factory and the blue collar guys had an initial problem with the college boys. Factory is gone due to how much the dems love private sector union workers.
This is absolutely true. Often high income households with very high income potential, future doctors for example. It is impatience and entitlement run amok.

If you are smart, you are only a chump once. Like the 1986 amnesty program which both the RINOs, Reagan and the dems promised us would be a one-time event followed by a commitment to close the border and stop employers from employing illegals. That was a lie and illegals knew they just had to get into the US and wait for the next round. If there is a significant debt forgiveness everyone will be "borrowing" and then demanding another round of debt forgiveness.
Just make the college debt subject to the US bankruptcy law. Those who can't pay get relief. Those who can don't. Then get the government out of it and let the private sector lend the money. Imagine having someone who wanted to get repaid reviewing your loan status. No loans for ethnic study degrees from a $50,000 a year college.

There has been a decline in tenure track professors, a big increase of poorly paid adjunct professors and TAs and a huge increase of useless administrators. At the state level, the states percentage of payments for state universities have declined while tuition has exploded to cover the state shortfall and the huge increase in the administration costs. The historic liberal art degrees have been turned into woke ass programs which negatively educate kids and then the explosion of utterly useless degrees like women studies, ethnic studies.
CRT doesn't require any mention of science or math and the only economics you are going to get is black liberation theory marxism.
