So Thomas and Scalia were the top thinkers on the Supreme Court for decades and with Scalia gone, that leaves Thomas as the top Constitutionalist on the Court. Actually reading the document does make you a free thinker. Deciding that you are don't need to do so makes you a fascist and an asshole.
