I should have went with Beastie Boys. Much better party songs and I'm not listening to either by myself.

This should go in controversial opinions, but 80's rap is mostly boom bap garbage. Dre is also extremely overrated. Not a lot of his stuff passes the test of time.

Dre doesn't have a lot of stuff. What does he have, 3 albums and one of them was like 2 years ago? The Chronic holds up chincredibly well, IMO. 2001 had some good chit on it.

He's a legendary producer more than an emcee. And he's the GOAT producer for my money.

Lyrically NWA was more about Eazy and Cube than Dre.

There isn't a single act ahead of them they objectively would rate ahead of.

And a) most of the Beasties biggest hits were in the 80s. Seriously, they have like two big songs post 1989 (and that's if you count Sabotage). Brassy Monkey, Fight For Your Right, Girls, No Sleep, Hey Ladies, Paul Revere are all 80's songs b) ground rules dictate they're an 80's act for these purposes.

NWA was much closer to being in the 90s bracket than the B Bois.

I’m to lazy to verify what you wrote. I can only say I didn’t give a shit about those songs in the 80s. But, I went to UW in the 90s and they were the jam. Still you are wrong about them being a 16 seed. I’m so pissed I’m going to fuck your boyfriend to get even!

That being said, I am far more likely to listen to their music than NWA ... in fact I’m turning the channel if NWA comes on

Because of that, I have to go Beasties. I can’t bring myself to include solo work with that of a group ... it’s judging apples and oranges at that point.

First, fuck you are white! This isn’t about people who were in a group doing great things on their own. It’s about who they were as a singular unit. Second, whoever wins this match will win the entire thing, unless PE draws votes if NWA loses.
