Random shit that doesn't fit elsewhere thread

This happens seemingly everyday on the Columbia River during Buoy 10 season. Problem is these “Guides” think they have the right of way because they are all experienced and have paying customers aboard. That’s one guy, down here it’s 100 of those shitheads among 1000 boats… I keep a 5 gallon bucket of rocks just for when one of em starts to lip off.

What is the source of these confrontations? People getting to someone else's fishing spot before they do?

Can’t speak for that instance in the video, but down here there’s an unwritten rule on the water. With a 1000 boats stacked into a small area everyone has to work together to fish it. If someone has a fish on, peel off and go around, slow down, etc.. But these guys just keep going in their line and expect you move while fighting a fish, which is impossible because you’re not on your motor. But if they are hooked up, everyone should part the sea to accommodate em. They also like to get right on your ass if you’re consistently catching fish, taking away any fish. Mind you the salmon season here is predominately trolling catch, so 1000 boats all underway makes it pretty sketchy anyways. The stretch of river everyone wants to work is about 3miles long and about 2 football fields wide
