Random NBA player of the past

Here is some ABA action for ya.

The Colonels got fucked in the merger. The NBA didn’t want any of that smoke.

True. Three HoF’s. Golden State would have been torched.
Didn’t even recognize Dan Issel next to Gilmore. Can’t miss Artis, couple interesting coaching names with Brown and former college/pro coach Stan Albeck. - died in 2021 at 89
When the Knicks didn’t make the playoffs he worked in the broadcast and was immediately hired for the nba once fired in NYC. Younger folks will remember him more as a commentator than an actual HC like Madden in 🏈. Believe Brown might be alive, probably not broadcasting although I haven’t watched anything but Bron and Steph during the playoffs the past decade+
He’s 91 and still alive & born in 1933, his folks probably heard our Boys in the boat beat Hitler on a radio broadcast. @YellowSnow

It was ironic that Draymond was talking about the NBA being boring when his team is the one who started the trend that made it boring, but he's still right.

Who remembers these cards King County sheriffs would hand out do you asked for them. I had a class mate who had multiple sets because her dad was a sheriff. I was so jealous. I should dig out my cards and see what I have of these

Oh my God I remember those cards.

Hated this guy so much during the Sonics /Bullets championship games

This is a terrible CSB, but during that series I thought the Washington Bullets were in Tacoma for some reason
When I was a wee lad in Everett just learning about sports, I thought the Washington Redskins were also located in the Seattle area along with the Seahawks.

Was very disappointed finding out the truth.
