This year was the first time I ever watched The Masters for more than five minutes, and I enjoyed it.
 
Rory won 4 majors like he was Tiger. Last one 10 years ago. Over 20 wins. A rare career but seems like a lot left on the table

I agree with Rory that the tour needs to make a deal with PIF and fuck LIV
If your model is special events you need all the players to make it work
 
This will be a "Take it to the Tug" comment, but this is just another example of America losing its dominance on the world stage and the decay of our influence and cultural standing.
 
American golf is still the crown jewel of a very international sport.
Getting investment from the Saudis while keeping all the players together is the best thing that can happen
Like opium for tea the west paid the Saudis billions for oil and the Saudis send it back buying the Premier League and the PGA tour
The European tour just went back to China for a tournament

I know he had early success, but all he's done the past several years is choke leads and whine. Not sure how that's turned him into the spokesman for the PGA (outside of Tiger).

3 of his 4 majors came on rain soaked courses, where his overwhelming power advantage really shined and he had no scar tissue. He's still one of the longest guys, but the gap has closed dramatically. Rory never learned to how to dial down his short irons and wedges and hit them 60% to control distance and spin. It's really as simple as that.
 
I pointed out at the time that soft Rory needed soft courses. Got a lot of blowback. Congressional was a joke
Brooks is much better but he really doesn't give a fuck about the media or being liked
 
Lots of outrage about Xander getting a free drop within a penalty area yesterday. Didn't even know that was possible to get. All this pampering of certain players with free drops is getting out of hand. That shit wouldn't fly in my cash games.
 
Scottie had his baby. Now Rory has his excuse for not winning on a wet course that he has won at before.
 
Winning the week before the major rarely works
Beating Shawfully isn't like beating Scottie or Brooksie
But a hell of a round
A dozen guys have 25 wins and 4 majors or more.
