I shot a 79 at Foster Greens once. All time record

I couldn't even dream of a 77 on a real course

Yep. I’m not rolling out 77’s, more about birdies and pars sprinkled among the bogeys and doubles…those birdies keep me coming back…

One drive off the sweet spot used to do it

Exactly. That card looks just like one of mine except the circle on the par three would've been a square, as I suck on them, and somehow it would've added up to 81-82 on a good day.

Playing is a good excuse for a number of things other than what you shoot

Pretty sure my low round is 76 at The Home Course

Best round I've played though was a 78 at Gold Mountain Olympic course - 3 birdies in 4 holes on the back helped a ton there

PGA in May will be cool for the new Friscoe course, no other good future sites coming up besides that. I want it back in August.

I preferred the rhythm of the old season as well. Players in May. PGA in August. Used to wrap with the Firestone tourney and the Tour championship and be done anyway before football

The Fed Ex Cup has never really been something I care about all that much

The PGA is just strange to me because the courses they tend to play are good but I'm not sure I'd consider them great and I really am not a fan of places like Quail Hollow that are regular tour stops pop back up to host majors

It's definitely the one major where my weekend interest is completely tied to what the leaderboard looks like

They should play the whole Fedex Cup on the west coast. Courses are all nice and baked out and no thunderstorms and humidity like basically everywhere else in August. NAPA event is awesome every year in September because of that. Primetime viewing window also.

I hear the greens are firm at Chambers Bay...

They should book it for 2035 or something then. But Chambers would be awesome in August. The amount of years these events get booked out in advance is a problem. The US open has like one spot open in the next 10 years. PGA is booked out through 2034 I think. Pinehurst and Pebble each like 4-5 spots in the next 20, no thanks on that many.

Once every 10 years was the standard for Pebble and the like. Chambers got killed on social media but I liked it
