Quook at work

He quook fan at MY work says it was all coaching and Helfrich didn't prepare the team and that they need a new coach. A month ago, he was complaining about Duck fans with unreasonable expectations who can't just be happy with a Rose Bowl or conference title.

It was a proper ass kicking, no amount of preparation would have saved them. You could have Sark prepare them and they still should have won after a +4 turnover differential

Now he's giving me guff about the Dawgs...I haven't said a word all day.

Awesome.

Cheap shot on Marcus....rubbing it in.....Urban is a jerk.

LOL

It was a bit of a cheap shot, but the game was over by that time. You also can't blame Urban for one late hit by one of his linemen.

They will bitch about Urban running up the score for a long time to come. I guess they forgot about Bellotti doing the same thin in a bowl game.

Like in the Aloha Bowl

Hold it ...

Wrong fake punt.

I saw Oregon run it up against Montana in Autzen watching my nephew play.....less than 3 minutes to go and they were up by 40 or something.....throwing bombs into the endzone. Give me a break about running up the score.

Ohio State had better players at every position, including their third string quarterback. Slingblade may or may not know what he's doing, but this match up turned out to be a bigger mismatch than Kelly's ducks vs Tressel's Buckeyes. That plungering wasn't on Slingblade. The ducks faced too much speed and power, and one of the best coaches in the business.

I thought Urban should've taken a knee but my friend said that since tOSU turned it over 4 times, Urban was simply reinforcing how much he could've blown the Dooks out of the water if not for those TOs.

Personally, I didn't think it was a cheap shot by the defender on Mariota. He was in the act of throwing when the DL took a step and then went in for the sack. Plus, these mobile QBs sometimes fake a throw and then run. Lastly, it wasn't flagged.

Look folks, there are negative consequences when you rely so much on your QB's legs for creating opportunities for the whole offense. That shit doesn't fly in the Not For Long League and the only way Wilson survives is that he is built like a RB and has massive hands to stiff-arm fools.

I'm in So Cal where a local station yesterday talked about the upcoming Ohio State Oregon State game

NOGAF. No ducks in the office.

ohio state followed the formula for beating oregon's offense:

1) get after the QB. You can't let oregon's QB get comfortable.

2) stop the run. Must make the quacks one dimensional. Everything for them starts with establishing the run.

3) tackle well one-on-one. Tackle oregon's RBs and WRs IMMEDIATELY after the catch the ball. No broken tackles. Penetration and play your assignments so oregon's QB cannot break free.

I am thinking you could just apply heat from the edges and pressure up the middle.

Can't find a link to it but I know Mike Leach has definitely said before that it isn't his job to stop his offense, it's your job.

So fuck off Oregon ... your job to stop Ohio from scoring ... not their job. They already had helped you in that regard 4 other times during the night.

It's not running up the score when you run straight up the middle. Oregon was just to tired, beat up to give a shit at that time.

Thats the same formula for any offense Passion. Its football

That's originally a Spurrier quote.

It wasn't Mike Leach that said that.

It was Steve Spurrier.
