West Virginia had a season in like 1990 or so when they played Norte Dame a Bowl game that essentially decided the national title.

Senior laden class for WVU and the following season went like 4-7. I realized then the WVU coach was good once every 4-5 years when he had a good recruiting class he could develop over time. That’s where we are now.

We blew another game we should have won. That’s at least 3. Stanford beat us pretty soundly and kicked two FG’s on the one yard line so can’t really say we blew that game. We just didn’t show up.

This is a flawed team that gets absolutely no help from the coaching. Pete gets a F for game day coaching this year.

All turnovers are bad, but Eason’s absolutely killed us. A pick in the red zone throwing into triple coverage to Otton. That cost us at least 3 points. Then a pick 6. He also fumbled in the first half. Defense held them to 3. Really bad day by him and he deserves to be bashed for it. He lost the game for us, although the coaching didn’t help. Don’t defend him with yeah, but... Nobody ever did that for Browning here.

Dude gets fired before he changes, it aint in him. He's fervent in his system and we've seen max capacity. It'll be a fun team every 5 or 6 years which isn't fucking fun at all.

Do you expect to make the playoffs every 2 years? My expectations are for Oregon to make the playoffs once every 4 to 5 years. If the fuskies do that every 5 to 6 years, you should be grateful and give Peterman extensions.

This team is the biggest underachieving pussies since probably the '97 team. They had a lot of talent and gave up, but at least were a top ten team for a while. It very well could be worse though. 6-6 seems like a real possibility right now. 7-5 is probably about right. With those teams, there was talent but not much depth due to sanctions. Pete had his time to fill out the roster. Very good programs just reload and most of their fans don't act like Doog fags and make the youth excuse. I definitely haven't been this disgusted since the '08 team. Even those Sark teams showed some heart, even if they had big shortcomings. This is coaching, but it's also internal. There aren't good leaders. That's pretty obvious.

The wide receivers are atrocious, pass rush usually sucks, secondary gives up too much etc. This team has been regressing for three years. That's the disturbing part.

The offense didn’t do enough to win this game, and neither did the defense.

Banging out all episodes of jack ryan on Saturday turned out to be much better for my mental health than watching the huskies vomit up yet another game. I literally paused during one episode, turned over to the game(to see eason throw a pick 6) and went right back to Jack ryan.

Coach Pete's biggest problem(was the same when he was in boise) is his inability get strong OC, or get talented guys in the room b/c he's too loyal. It's quite apparent that Hamdan needed more seasoning, and it keeps showing up. At one point he'll get an OC who isn't 27 and may have a good amount of experience and ability to talk back to CP. The guys CP is brining in, don't have the stones to man up and change or do what they want b/c they know they shouldn't be there to begin with.

Fucking got to wait another year now for season 3 of Mr ryan, and another 9 months for husky football.

it's really so frustrating because these 4 losses are 4 games we should have won with some adjusted coaching decisions and a couple playcalls here and there. In other words this entire debacle is on coaching in my opinion. Every team in college has personnel issues to deal with each year and every team has a couple close games each year where the coaches need to be the difference and/or the kickers need to be the difference, but in this season all of it leads directly to Petersen and Hamden in my opinion. I honestly think we could have masked the linebacker issues for wins this year if Petersen would burn that fucking 15 year old chart in his back pocket and sever ties with the Boise State alumni coaching network.

Agree with a lot of that Billy, but let’s not go too far with the Sark teams. They laid an egg every single road game against teams with a pulse. We scraped out wins against teams without a pulse on the road.

On defense, other than Levi and Bryant, the best players are all freshmen and sophomores. I thought we would reload. Maybe there would be a small drop off, but not this. This is a legitimately bad defense.
