What article or amendment to the US Constitution makes it the United States’ responsibility to pay for the country that didn’t “start it”?
I didn't know anyone was saying it's our responsibility. Can you point that person out? What article or amendment to the US Constitution makes it the United States’ responsibility to pay for the country that didn’t “start it”?
What are you saying then? That it’s our obligation to continue to throw good money after bad into a bogged down kill zone?I didn't know anyone was saying it's our responsibility. Can you point that person out? What article or amendment to the US Constitution makes it the United States’ responsibility to pay for the country that didn’t “start it”?
There is some merit to that argument but after 3 years, would you not agree that it is seeing the law of diminishing returns? In other words, if the USA sends another $60 or $70 billion a year, will it degrade Russia's capability to wage war more than that money did in 2022, 2023, or 2024? I would say no.Russia in a quagmire on its own border is a great thing. Not wasteful. We have sent approx 150 billion in weaponry and dollars to Ukraine. That is about 33% of the total bill and we aren't on the same continent. If somehow we are now the enemy after demanding an end to the war, cut it all off and let the EU's foot the entire bill. If the EU's were serious about this war they wouldn't be buying Russian NG or importing oil. It is so fucked up what they are doing.
The war is not winnable, and we have no business wasting our money there. Get out. Make Ukraine's neighbors deal with it.
Why in the world does anyone here want this to end?
Don't interrupt your enemy when he's making a mistake.
Daddy is bailing Vlad out. Fuck him.
And to pretend that China will not take note of our unwillingness to stay the course is part of the problem with that argument. We tire of these efforts and authoritarians know we do.There is some merit to that argument but after 3 years, would you not agree that it is seeing the law of diminishing returns? I would also argue that Communist China is the much bigger threat to the USA and allies in the Pacific than Russia is to our allies in Europe. We have provided substantially more financial and military support to Ukraine than any other country. If Ukraine needs $150 billion a year to continue fighting Russia, why can't Europe provide that in 2026 and beyond? Of course if Europe was really serious about ending this war, they would risk their own soldiers too (about 30,000 would do) but they don't have the stomach for it. Hence, they want the USA to keep pumping tens of billions in so they don't have to.
I also think it's disingenuous of Zelinkskyy to lecture the Trump administration on the war when he refuses to drop the draft age to 21. When the USA was attacked by Japan at the beginning of WWII, the draft age was 18 but pretty much every able bodied male enlisted because they wanted revenge.
If so many Ukrainians don't want to fight, why should the USA continue borrowing money to send it over there?
Ukraine's desperate need for soldiers spurs exodus of young men
He tried to help Ukraine... Zelensky shit the bed in the signing ceremonyObligation? What is the matter with you gals?
It's in our fucking self-interest, you morons. And if Daddy wanted to help Ukraine, you'd be tying yourselves up in knots to justify doing so.
What do you suppose Vlad has on Daddy? It must be juicy.
If it’s in “our” self-interest, then surely you must advocate sending US troops to aid the Ukrainians, who are dying by the hundreds each month, and are literally pulling people off the streets to conscript them into the military. If not, then you’re an even bigger piece of shit than I already know you are.Obligation? What is the matter with you gals?

H the Chickenhawk and his little buddy KM.
How many years and millions of deaths are enough for a stalemate? The only way Ukraine gets it's land back is if US troops go in... do you really want that? And yeah US troops openly shooting Russian Troops would go over great in the Kremlin. And to pretend that China will not take note of our unwillingness to stay the course is part of the problem with that argument. We tire of these efforts and authoritarians know we do.There is some merit to that argument but after 3 years, would you not agree that it is seeing the law of diminishing returns? And we are supposed to keep paying for that? What if Putin decides enough is enough and uses tactical nukes... then what...Russia involved in a meat grinder conflict. What part of me calling that a good thing did you fail to grasp?
Comparing Russia and China is really apples and oranges. Russia can barely project power beyond their own border. And to pretend that China will not take note of our unwillingness to stay the course is part of the problem with that argument. “Conservatives” who want to appease Russia. With conservatives like that, who needs leftists?H is a fucking idiot. The only thing he knows is to oppose “conservatives.”
