Question for the Bored

Hoffmann and I are donating copies of The Husky Hitman to the current players, and Coach Petersen has accepted our offer. I'm doing that to help the current players know their heritage and I'm not doing it in order to gain access or whatever. And I wouldn't want it to appear that way.

But among some of the old guard at UW there is still some bad blood I believe.
I'm not sure what you mean by that statement (bolded). It might be interesting if you could explain. It might be interesting if you can't explain. It might be interesting either way. Or not. Either way it will be...oh fuck it.
Assuming he's pissed off Woodward and/or other higher ups with his book on Ty and White Guilt.

you're in the ballpark

I would love to have Race back, but that's up in the air given other stuff going on in his life right now.

Write about whatever you want to write about, Derek. I enjoy most of your articles and am glad you have been more active lately. Maybe take on a role as editor too. Not speaking for myself, but I think there are others who can write good articles that will create discussion, and hopefully add new posters.

Duckfighter, TBS articles, articles mocking doogman. During the season, some breakdowns of plays/drives. I always appreciate learning more about what play was called vs how it was executed.

There was a guy doing this at dm.c for a while, complete with snapshots of plays in development. Great reading. You should get him here.

UWForLife I think was his name. Those were great.

I like humor and sarcasm. More DuckFighter please. I do find I like most of what is posted though... I also really liked Mad Son ramblings...

Of all DJ's books, I think I enjoyed the format of Dawgs of War the best. It took each game and made it a story. With only a week between games, it's probably much harder to do but a post-game summary that looks at the story lines leading up to the game and how they unfolded and impacted the game.

For example, in 2015 when UW plays USC again and the story line from every UW fan is how much they hated Sark and they planned to boo him during the game, did they do it or not?

This is a good idea.
