This kid has been on the coaching staff's watch list and I believe he has visited. He was completely "off the radar" of the TBS sites due to being injured his entire junior year but he's tearing it up this year so far.

YTD.....46/67 69% 715yds, 10 TD's, 2 INT after 2 games against the #1 and #4 ranked 6A teams in state.

If Eason can't be flipped, I'd rather take this kid than the 2nd best QB committed to Cal or SMU
 
I like him a lot. Way better than the SMU fucker. That kid is terrible.

Herbert looks like the real deal; tall, fast, good arm, accurate passer. RS him next year and he could start for 2 years! Would be amazing to have a roster managed like that, wouldn't it?

I'm no QBkimGuro but from the above video I like how he was poise in the pocket and doesn't panic. He throws a nice ball and runs hard.
