Looks he did snag an offer and will be visiting in late Jan. Someone I know who played college football at a decent level and whose son does too (from the Midwest) said, "Interesting. I watched his highlight film. He doesn’t look power five to me. He looks more like a MAC or Sun Belt QB. Remember, he’s playing against terrible competition and does not have breakaway speed."

I agree with him that the competition isn't good but he is a very good athlete with accuracy and a decent arm.

I am friends with someone who knows Josh Wood and he said he thinks he keeps his commitment to EWU and then could transfer to UW if he lights it up. The new portal rule changes things a ton.
 
I think the best path for borderline QB’s like Max Brown and Josh Wood is to go to a smaller school with an easier path to playing time, then transfer. They’ll develop a hell of a lot more as starters than they would riding the bench at UW for 2-3 years.

Best thing DeBoer can do is establish relationships with them now and hope that pays off down the road.

EWU is holding their breath until February with Wood, he wants to go Power 5, but why hasn’t he been offered by schools like OSU? They’ve offered every 2 star in WA basically, but haven’t offered him? Gotta be something else going on.

I don’t think Brown is a Power 5 starter but adds depth and athletic ability to the room. Depends on what the kid wants, CMU lost their recruiting coordinator this past week and that’s who offered him. Karshina or some shit like that

 
In his interview with the Florida TBS site, they asked if he would still visit UW
He said, "No comment."

Now we get to offer Wood and when he picks Fresno, we'll get a week of crowing from Tracy Ford about how UW got shut down for disrespecting another local recruit
 
Ford is a total cunt. There’s a whole thread over at Doogman and 81% of the sheep think he’s just doing his job. The other 19% (need to ask Edlind if that’s the correct math) agree that Ford is a cunt-faced Duck fuck stick.
