Puka Nacua, 2019 4* WR, Orem, UT (Committed)

So according to roof, Malloe and Lubick are in Utah to do an in-home with Nacua. He has an official set up with USC on Dec 15th and to Utah on Dec 7th so sounds like we’re tryung to convince him not to sign in Dec so we can pursue him after. Looking like we’re going for a 2nd WR at all costs, and that this will be one of the post early signing positions to fill.

Apparently his mom wants him to visit UW and with the changes at USC it opens the door.

I mean, how downlow can it be if he visits Utah on the 7th and USC on the 15th but doesn’t sign? It’s clear he’d be planning on another official.

Also if Roof is publishing it then it’s not very secret.

Dude Gregory recruiting has not been terrible, it’s his coaching as of the last year

McCoy is a lock to wind up at USC and Ford has been talking a lot about Oregon. Nacua is a bellweather recruit. If things heat up between UW and Nacua, then that says we’re fucked on Ford.

Nacua is a solid consolation prize though. Had over 2,000 yards this season.

Ford has been liking some UW stuff on twitter recently. We are NOT fucked on Ford, we are not even fucked on McCoy. We still have a shot (albeit small) at McCoy and a pretty decent shot at Ford. But I also like Puka.
