Jimmy is what Pete was for 3 out of his 6 years at UW, but a little shittier than that even.
6-8 wins, bend and break, overly conservative D. Get up by at least 10 at half and you're really conservative on both sides of the ball and holding on, and the opponent knows it. And absolutely shit offense in need of a Gaskin-type to keep the sticks moving to apologize for bad play calling/scheme (this year that's McGrew).
Pete lost to Utah, Arizona, Cal, Graham ASU, all sorts of teams he should have handled. Jimmy's just done it with Beavlet and Montana (Pete barely scraped by Eastern).
Dude is probably winning 3-4 games. This is not close.
4 minimum because of the Apple Cup and Arizona.
There will be a blowout loss somewhere in there from UCLA/ASU/Oregon.
But it's been close losses in every game except Mishitagain.
We should beat wazzu. But they actually look way better than us right now. You have a melt down every game like everyone else and then have weird undeserved optimism during the week because were Washington. . This team sucks really bad.
We've lost close games except Michigan, which is an outlier circumstance and our second game of the year.
We might have a blowout loss to Stanford on the road again or one of UCLA/ASU/Oregon. But most likely Stanford will be close as well, because they're aren't a good football team either.
The 3 better teams are at home. It will be hard to blow us out at home unless the team has quit completely.
We'll have, at worst, a close loss to Wazzu and/or Colorado because that's how every game has gone except one. But then we'll take another close, lucky win somewhere else.
Math says based on everything this year, it's unlikely that we win just 3-4.
But most likely we beat Wazzu (not going to get into that, but expect a W) and Colorado (who somehow made a worse hire than we did)[/b], and Arizona who is not currently Power 5.
5 wins. 2/3 of UCLA/ASU/Oregon will be close, conservatively. Stanford a close game, most likely.
We win 5-7. Upper bound is 7-8 wins.
That is a Pete year 3/6 years.
