This was one of the committed recruits I was keeping a secret, this has been in the works for awhile and they are planning on him visiting but we will see if it actually happens. Prince is also a big reason why Van decommited from Texas, both are close and once Prince decommitted he started bad mouthing Texas which mad Van rethink he decision.

Right now Princely is on the Baylor campus and everything points to them closing him this weekend and him signing with them on Wednesday.

Jesus. This might be Malloe's worst. 0 for 4 on guys right before signing day (including Kenely) with 2 going to Utah and 1 to Baylor. Also throw in Shipley. That's as bad a recruiting performance as Paopao last year. Maybe worse

That's what happens when you go 7-5, if you notice, Washington is having a tough time getting guys on campus let alone closing.

Shipley was different. Giggles and cackles heard when he announced Oregon.
 
It’s not ideal. It’s hard to recruit when you sign as many as we did the year before. It really shouldn’t be, but kids don’t want to think about redshirting and starting by their junior year or even later. They all want to be starters by year two at the latest.

I still hope we find a DL to sign. There are still good, available players out there. Find them, evaluate them, flip someone if needed. Easier said then done, but I guarantee there a couple stud DL‘s committed to smaller schools that will end up studs. Just gotta find them. It’s much harder than simply recruiting only players that everyone else wants.

I’m really bummed about Carlton. He’s going to be a good one. I had gotten my hopes up for a few days before seeing it was tilted more towards Utah along with the obvious connections he has there.
