But how is the NBA a fucking dreckfest?
The one thing you have to credit the NBA is how they've been able to spin the players dogging it during the regular season by calling the playoffs a "different animal". It's only a different animal because they are finally trying their hardest as opposed to cruise control.
I get saving yourself for when it matters, but the product really suffers a lot of these games where the stars are on the bench and/or guys are clearly floating around stoned. If an 82 game season is too long to give top effort shorten the season or nix the preseason.
