No team in the nation must replace more up front than Washington this season, and concern regarding that truth has reached Vegas, where oddsmakers have set the Huskies' win total at a paltry four games.

"They have us among the last teams in the Pac-12," linebacker Travis Feeney said. "We love that. That's motivation for us. Let them say we're not going to be that good. Because we're going to shut everyone up and that's how it's going to be."

Yeah it's the QB and OL that I'm worried about. The previous regime recruited the DL and LBs ok (Feeney, Littleton, Qualls, Mathis, Bierria, Victor) but largely pooped the bed on the QB and OL front, at least from 2011-2013. It will be even more of an indictment if a true frosh (Browning and / or Adams) gets PT over RS-Sophs and RS-JRs at highly nuanced positions like those.
 
I've seen a few players say this. I'm really surprised they don't say something like, "The season is over. We are going to suck. But hey, 2017 could be special."

Sounds like UW's motto for the season should be something like, "WE DON'T NEED YOUR PERMISSION!"
