Exactly that’s why so called National Football championships only exist at the FCS level and below.

Fancying your team as a national champion because sportswriters or coaches vote for you is inane. It is like it always has been...........a mythical National Championship.

Even with a four team “playoff” it still doesn’t qualify. That’s why the NCAA doesn’t see it as a NCAA championship.
