Is that Buddy Holly? I'm assuming... "Words of Love", the origins of the Zombies sound and a giant Beatles Influence.

Buddy influenced EVERYONE. People always think of the influence on the Beatles but the Stones' first big hit record was their take on "Not Fade Away".

Yes, with Waylon Jennings...
Waylon was playing in Buddy's band on tour, and gave his plane ticket to the Big Bopper, to instead take a bus. Waylon's account has said that just before departing, Buddy said jokingly "I hope the bus breaks down", to which Waylon replied, jokingly, "I hope the plane crashes"...He admittedly struggled for a long time with that.
