"I think a few things are lost in the translation. Number one: BSU is a VERY GOOD football team. They may not lose another game the rest of the way. Number two: This outcome was not a surprise to Washington fans or anyone who was paying attention.
Boise beat a young Huskies team by a FG in the Las Vegas bowl victory. BSU was a senior laden team playing the Dawgs on a neutral field. Fast forward to yesterday. UW returned 19 of 22 starters 12 points away from a 9-4 season. where we played 6 games against top 25 teams. Three against top 5 teams. We were opening our new stadium with a 5 year senior QB whose last really great performance year was to statistically lead 3 guys, including RG III and Andrew Luck, now playing in the NFL. Boise lost 19 starters from the LV Bowl team.
Now, is anyone really surprised at the outcome? The Husky faithful really think this is the year where something really special is going to happen. We will need to prove we can be consistent, but feel we are and should play like a top 10 team. There is great deal of football to be played, but we remain optimistic that cleaning up a few areas and the return of the #1 TE in the nation should help this team do some special things this year.
BSU is a VERY GOOD TEAM! We just feel the 2013 Husky team is a special one that we may have not seen since the years surrounding a run on 4 of 6 Rose Bowls and a NC. No, I am not predicting a NC, but a special year the Husky faithful have waited a decade for.
BSU will demolish the rest of their schedule"
