Agree on QB. Receiver has 4 seniors leaving for sure plus Chin likely... that's a lot of playing time up for grabs. I don't see any of them as being afraid of that competition. Same goes for OL with 3 senior starters and a senior 6th man in Roberts

Gilchrist had been working as a safety for basically his whole time at UW, and then got pushed to slot corner because of Cam Williams and Alex Cook. If Irvin gets healthy, I imagine that he'd beat out Gilchrist for that 2nd unit spot.

Rice is fine, but it feels like he's been here forever (like ChrisB said) and he still hasn't seen meaningful snaps. ZTF played over him in the Rose Bowl. If he can't get on the field this year, he gone

I'm not as down on Draco as others are. I think he ends up being decent depth in the middle as a rotational player.

The difference with Draco (the difference between selling couch and playing as a junior/senior) is that he's actually good. He's just not a guy who's already 300+ pounds and ready to play on the interior like his classmates and the following class of interior DL. I also read from somebody close to the family that he has no intention of getting up to that size. If this is true, it's weird that the staff even recruited him in the first place, as he has a great body for a 4-3 defensive end, and word is he wants to keep it that way. The Huskies just have little need for that body type.

What I see from him is bulking up to ~290 naturally, whether he likes it or not, and eventually being that Tani Tupou/Benning guy that is a junior/senior surprise. Again, he's actually talented, so he's going to see the field in a meaningful way once he grows--literally--into the interior role.

Either that or WTE. Surprised they moved Luciano there instead of Bynum, really.
