Point taken. But he isn't "top tier/elite" talent. So, not sure it was favored by NFL to sit since he likely needed to prove lofty status.

Had I actually cared to be precise I could've said second tier. I didn't say which frickin' margin.

If he's a second tier talent and went in the second round than sitting the Rose Bowel clearly didn't hurt him.

You can't have it both ways.

Either he's a premier talent who paid a price for sitting or he's a second tier talent and sitting didn't cost him a damn thing.
