Nevell has nice legs and A pure stroke throwing movement. Throws a nice ball and looks attractive doing it. Excited to have him in the system and to watch him for 4 years plus. He can really fill out his frame and probably get to a girthy 220 which I would love to see. Overall a very attractive prospect who gets me excited.
 
I know his only scholarship offer was to Idaho... who pulled it the day Petrino was hired... and it took Gesser and Moos begging Leach to give him a walk-on spot.

In a typical year, my Coug brethren would be ecstatic about a pair of four star verbals in one day, let alone a full year. This year, not so much. The vagaries of TBS have left us a bit numb after top recruits stiff the team immediately prior to LOI day. Powell needs a lot of school book time. Neville has watched the parade of QB transfers to Eugene and could actually honor his commitment. Nobody is holding their breath. There is far more interest in the new incoming school president, who has a ton of NCAA experience.
