This Michigan deal. How is it different than what happened before?

My dad wasn’t a Husky Hunter by any means. But I remember the late night calls with Lambo and Baird

The husky hunters watched high school games of recruits Washington wanted, wore Husky gear, befriended the families and reported back. There may have been $hundred handshakes. No opponent scouting.

Husky Hunters is how Cam Cleeland was found. He was a big fish in a small pond. Locals try to say he was a blue chipper everyone wanted but initially it was the hunters and Dick Baird got word of a big ginger TE in a wing T offense that they threw in special pass plays just for him because he was that speshul. Also him shattering back boards during PE and hitting the longest home run ever seen during a high school game certainly helped his stock.
 
I don't know what a Husky Hunter is but I found an image of this Inuit training his dogs while searching on google to learn more about Husky Hunters.

Thought it was kinda cool.

Nope. The Husky Hunters were eliminated after the UW was put on probation back in 93.

My daughters high school team color is purple, so I wore a UW shirt to a volleyball game. Someone asked if I was a recruiter. I laughed and said no. They said, well maybe they’ll play better because they think you are.

They lost…

I love me them freshman volleyball girls.

I keep getting older and they stay the same age. Yes, they do.
