New Fish
I hate myself so I decided to check out Fetters' offensive recruiting scorecard. I stopped reading at QB: B-.

Ho. Lee. Doogshit.

If QB recruiting was a B- literally every other position has to be an A+++.

WTF

Other things that would get a B- from Fetters:

Titanic's first voyage, Fukushima nuclear plant safety practices and the Pontiac Aztek.

You Fucktards!!! Don't you know the fucking formula? If UW offered 11 QB's and the top 10 went elsewhere and we got #11 that is a C+ grade. Since Haener is #9 it's a B-.

Hope I helped some of you window licking fucktards out.

Pontiac Aztec. I laffed and laffed like an idiot hyena.

The doogpound version of Fetters probably gave it a B+.

If Fetters gave a D posters would be mad at him for being negative. A B- is as low of grade you can give without those doogs going crazy.

They get mad at saying Romar should be fired. Negative Sark posts got deleted. They still like him and hope for the best.

The worst part is doogpound is even n

#doogstrong. Just don't be like those doogs.

the only thing Fetters and Kim and Eklund are trying to do right now is endear themselves to Coach Pete so they'll say everything they can hoping Pete realizes what helpful allies they can be for him.

I actually would be interested in knowing what the rest of the rankings were ... the only place where you could IMO give a comparable grade to QB in this class would be on the DL because of the process that we took to get there. Ali Gaye is 100x more likely to be a significant contributor to this program than Jake Haener.

Didn't see the defensive side but there's just no way DL can be on the same shit tier with QB. Gaye and Lolohea have me excited, and I like Tryon too. They were all offered by half the conference. Haener was offered by nobody except maybe the imploder.

Offensive rankings were all A's except OL was a B, IIRC. An A for RB is too high, and I love Salvon Jihad.

OL you can downgrade easily because as DDY would say we got literally 1 of our top 10 targets there. But if we signed 3 OL in next year's class as good as the 3 we got in this year's class we'd likely be very happy. A B is probably fair there all things considering but it's not a stretch to envision all 3 of them eventually starting in the future.

I agree with you in that the guys we got on the DL all look good and the good news is that there will be time for them to develop. It's a situation to me where the misses here were getting worked on Marlon and the fact that we literally stopped recruiting the position in April after getting his verbal outside of Malloe completely whiffing on Jay Tufele ... which is a massive miss in not at least getting a visit. It's why on the podcast we looked at both the players and the coaches. In a normal class, we'd be very happy with these players and the only thing we'd maybe want is a more stout DL option. Probably fair to give the class a B. But for Malloe's grade, you're probably looking C- at the high end and I think very fair to give him a D.

Next year will tell us a lot more about Malloe as a recruiter.

No question ... but would you agree that there's some serious reasons to be concerned at this point?

And on the OL, if Strausser wasn't such a good developer of players, fair to say that 81% of us would have the pitchforks out demanding a coaching change?

There's only serious reasons to be concerned if you think the Tui thing was his fault. I don't, I think the kid got suckered by a completely shady pitch by Nansen. TO me this year didn't tell us much. If similar stuff happens again next year I'll be very worried. At this point, I don't think we have much real data.

My Tui point is that we basically shut it down and we're content with 1 DL recruit ... that's just bad planning IMO
