This is a good poont. One I had not even considered. What the fuck happens if Peterman loses one of the scrimmages? I have taken 4-0 through the preseason as fact for so long, I really can't even visualize a scenario where we lose one. This event might cause some kind of strange singularity event where the entire world imploded and black holed. Fuck me. I'm going to drink more heavily than usual throughout the preseason to ensure if the world ends, I'm too fucked up to care.

The difference is that Boise team went on to win a BCS bowl. I'm no rocket scientist, but I'm pretty sure Hawaii won't come close to that.

Also, I'm not judging Pete as a coach after one game. He gets a few years to produce results, unless we totally suck this year ala Ty or Gilby. I don't see that happening, though.

Speaking from experience as a Duck fan. I understand Hawaii is nowhere close to that Boise St. team, but there were some grumblings about Chip after that game. Let's not forget that Boise was a border line top 15 team at the time, but nobody had any idea how good they really were at the time.

Speaking from experience as a Duck fan. I understand Hawaii is nowhere close to that Boise St. team, but there were some grumblings about Chip after that game. Let's not forget that Boise was a border line top 15 team at the time, but nobody had any idea how good they really were at the time.

Last year OSU lost to EWU and it let us know OSU sucked. Which was proven out during the rest of the season.
