This is the 3rd separate tweet I saw this morning saying this. Each twat was from someone who’s a B1G fan (Michigan for Weber above; one Iowa guy; third might’ve been a UCLA guy).

All the comments agree. I looked at the replies and they’re coming from guysm in Alabama, Texas, Florida etc.

A guy in Alabama said UW has the best helmet around.

For years, I thought this was simply a Husky fan gripe but based on my extensive Twitter/X research, it goes beyond Husky fans.

ATBS, it’s typically the players who choose the uniforms and as long as they win, I’m happy with them.

 
Agree with everything you said. Personally, I don't like the all purps, but we frickin' WIN when we're wearing that combo and if the players like it, then, whatever.
 
The purple storm trooper look has been GOATED ever since last year's Oregon game.
 
Yeah my memories of the traditional look is basically barely squeaking by OSU last year and WSU this year at home. Throw them out.
 
We choose to wear all purple when we play all white. There’s actual research behind this (I know a woman who worked on it) that is not published.

The coaches have said several times that is why their go with all purple/white whenever they can.

The all purps is now traditional when a team balls out like this. Fine with the all whites as long as the helmet is the traditional gold.
