The transportation hub of the nation. And all because of a quick little portage from Lake Michigan to a tributary of the Mighty Miss.
 
I like Chicago, blues and architecture.

It's interesting to see high res color shots from this era. It was almost all in BW. So much so that it almost seems like prior to widespread color photography the world WAS black and white.
