Philly is both the best and the worst city in America. Amazing culture and history. Food is top shelf.

So true. Very angry and violent city if you happen to take one step off of a "good block".
I stopped for gas somewhere in NE Philly in May of last year. There were security guards in one of those Wawa places. I don't want to judge the city on that, but it doesn't seem like a great place. Valley Forge was kind of cool, though.
