I was arguing about Leach with my coog buddy today. He said Leach has been just okay at WSU, but proved he was a great coach at Texas Tech. It's hard to win in Lubbock, etc. I pointed out that the coach before Leach had 5 straight winning seasons before Leach took over and was 82-67 in his career. The coaches after Leach have continued to win 7 or 8 games a year. He's as average as it gets. He had one really good year at Texas Tech. That's it.
